Get in touch with your ignorance!

Today's thought comes to us from a novel. "Bad Love" by Jonathan Kellerman. Dr. Delaware, the HERO, is talking with his SQUEEZE, Robin.

Robin: "There's probably a lot about him you don't know".
Dr. Delaware: "Probably true. Each year I get in touch with more of my ignorance."

Trading sometimes for sure allows us to "get in touch with more of our ignorance", and the longer we do it, at least for me...the more of my ignorance I find. And it's starting to get to be "full circle" here; I'm about as dumb as I was when I started. And...that may not be a bad way to be about parts of trading...just "ignorant".

Here's my point...8 years ago, during the FIRST "Mentoring classes" that some of you are now in, the whole concept of Higher Bottoms, Lower Tops, Double Bottoms, Double Tops, Heads & Shoulders & Reverse Heads & Shoulders was explained to me. Took me a LONG time to come FULL CIRCLE...recognize my "ignorance" of looking for something else...and now...just concentrate on what I learned back then.

Simple really is GREAT, and sometimes...getting to KNOW what you ALREADY KNOW is a great leap forward.

And lastly: Today's Zen Calendar thought: "Time is simply God's way of keeping everything from happening all at once." Anonymous. Just consider; without time and a chance for the charts in front of you to "unroll from the right and pass away to the left" ... you'd have to make ALL the trades at ONCE. That would be REALLY TOUGH. LOL!

Just food for thought on a Friday in July, 2005.
